Reread what I wrote. Paul may be furiously arguing that the only reason why we are talking about this at all is because we are a bunch of racists foaming at the mouth over the prospect of virtually lynching a poor innocent black man who did absolutely nothing wrong, but (s)he is not saying that the race of the two players had a role in the on-ice tragic incident. If a white man had done the accidental throat slitting instead Pauls would have supported bringing back beheadings and you know that.

This is semantics. Pauls (and Shay's Jr.) made race an issue from the get-go. They were the first two responses to this thread. She is claiming that others have made this racial. I don't care if she isn't claiming that herself, she is the one gaslighting and making a strawman. Race came into the conversation because of her and Shays.

Well, to be fair, there was a thread before this one that got deleted, started by PrimeTheFirst, that was all about race. When that thread was deleted was when this one started. So no, Paul and Shays were not the ones who brought race into the conversation.

The first comment from Pauls is a story about a racially abused hockey player in a reply to a slice hockey joke. She brought race into the thread too.

That is how I saw the article headlined--that a black player killed a white one and he wasn't charged. Plus the fact that they only ake up 1% of players is also unique.
If it was a white player he would have been charged for murder. They wouldn't have used to excuse that it was an accident since it happened during an aggressive act.
White players are held to a higher standard of conduct. With a black player--it's like "oh well, he didn't mean it." The idiots don't even see that they are suggesting the black player is inferior in ability. They are saying his mental faculties are special so he needs to be treated differently from a fully cognitive white person. Plus being treated to verbal abuse is not quite the same as wanting to jab a player in the neck with your knife-edged feet.

Literally the ones who brought race into this conversation.
I don't give a fuck what happened on some other deleted thread. And it's one guy. Not "ThE RigHtiES" as she said, "This reaction by the righties is right out of 1958." Fuck her. She's a nutty ass bitch who can't stay on topic.

The SNP happened to Scotland. The current First Minister believes that if you say bad things in your own house, the police should be able to arrest you. There is an increasing trend in Scotland to hand out light sentences to sex offenders as well as putting men in womens prisons. The Gender Recognition Act was a ploy by Hollyrood to pass legislation that conflicts with UK law to force Westminster to overrule it. Thus the SNP can play victim and claim they are being dictated to by England. To hell with womens rights, the SNP want to play games. They want to play games? I'm happy to give them my blessing when they cut off all their dicks and call themselves girls. 👍 I will support them as soon as they put their penises where their mouths are. Anything short of a new commitment to sincerity, and they're just pro-rape thugs. Its a deliberate attempt to demoralise the populous. You allow people to attack women and you fail to punish those that attack them. When men take matters into their own hands, you punish them harder than you did the criminals. Its all calculated.

Kari Johnson, the aunt of Adam Johnson, said, "It was very reckless. I just want them [authorities investigating] to get it right. We are looking for justice for Adam," according to Newsweek. Kari said she watched the "horrific tragedy" while watching the game at home with Johnson’s parents, and after seeing the video hundreds of times, she has concluded that Petgrave’s action was "totally unnecessary." "You don't take your leg and kick somebody and cut their throat. I'm sorry," she continued. "We were watching the game in real-time and we did witness what happened. Horrific is the word to describe." "My nephew was 6-feet tall, and whether you lost your balance or not, to have that leg come up that high and do a kicking motion like he did, that is just unacceptable," she said. "I think the actions were unnecessary. It was just unnecessary. Nobody touched him. I've watched that video hundreds of times." "I'm sure Mr Petgrave probably didn't even think about the consequences could be of that happening, but there comes a time when you have to realise, that's not hockey." Kari Johnson said Petgrave was likely "going through a lot too, but he took our boy. There are a few of us in the family that think it was a totally unnecessary, very, very bad action to take." thepostmillennial.com/breaking-family-of-hockey-player-killed-by-skate-blade-of-opponent-demand-justice-for-adam

Suspicion of manslaughter. Is the definition correct?
No intention of malice? I think he wanted to cause harm--just wasn't thinking about the lethal power of a leg kick with a blade on it judging from his reaction afterwards.

That might just be how it's worded but the prosecutors will probably add more when he's charged.

There is a report/rumor that there is video of him using the same kick on someone else in the past. (Obviously with not the same result.) I have no idea if it is true or not.
