Yeah, sure you have, Heretic. You've done literally everything on the planet to a high degree of mastery. I think he ate shit. I've watched it frame by frame several times now for this thread and it looks to me like he loses control. He also broke down in tears and seems to be completely destroyed by the entire thing, and on top of that, now he's getting hate from all over the world. But by all means, call the guy a fucking murderer because you're a pretend skater. He'd lose that bet if I believed for 1 momen't he's actually played ice hockey. I can ice skate and shove a puck around, but I’m not a hockey player.

Because he got caught? How the fuck wouldn't he have gotten caught in the middle of a stadium in the middle of a hockey game when dropkicking the guy with the puck? At least one of the referees would have noticed. No, I think he was legitimately broken because he caused a man's death. I think he's going to be devastated about it for the rest of his life even once the internet vultures have forgotten about him and moved on to fresher corpses to pluck at. Rules are one thing but you're claiming he killed him deliberately and ruling out an accident. You could argue he was playing recklessly and that led to the accident, but you're not doing that because it's not as fun, right? I don't think he deliberately tried to kill him, but he did try to hurt him and as a result killed him.
This player has a reputation as being the dirtiest player in the league, so it's not like this is a one-time thing. And yeah, it breaks a lot of rules flagrantly. It's not like it's his first time playing hockey and didn't know this.
Because he’s one of them and do that.

Okay, then if he had a reputation as a wreckless player prior then that changes the situation not a hockey fan so didn't know about his history.

Out of curiosity, do you know what a beer league is? Basically if you can skate, they'll let you play.

As I said, I believe deliberate is more likely than accidental. And I don't give two shits about the race, unlike you nutcases where that's all the matters. If you say so. Thanks for the accusation. I give up with you. That's just plain fucking rude.

Who else has lifted their leg then donkey kicked their skate blade at another player's neck? In the millions of ice hockey scrimmages and games, ever, who else has this "happened to"? Richard Zednik. That was an actual "donkey kick" too. His teammate's foot swung up backwards after he lost balance and hit Zednick in the neck, slitting it open. Believe it or not, you don't have traction on ice. If you lose your poise or get tripped up, your legs can swing upwards out from under you. Of course, that's not why this claim is gaining internet traction, is it now? It's because the guy who collided with him is black.Bullshit. Any incident like that will always be discussed, especially if someone dies as a result. When McSorley hit Brashear intentionally with his stick, the attacker was white and the victim was black, and the incident was discussed for months, without any racial overtones that I remember. And the case did go to trial.

Thanks for the accusation. I give up with you. That's just plain fucking rude. You are 100% right. I apologize for accusing you of saying Petgrave did it deliberately or not deliberately. I’m not sure which. I thought I was agreeing with you that it was accident. I had no idea I was being rude to you, I thought we were in a mutually respectful conversation. So Please forgive me.

First I wondered why this thread was on the US Politics board, then I wondered why it had got so many responses so quickly. All has been revealed. Sigh.

Exactly! This was not a body check that went wrong.

I had not even heard of it until Whose It posted it. Shit, I’m getting out of it, before Heretic charges me with murder.

Body checking in and of itself is “dirty.” It’s forbidden in children, junior and women leagues.

A thread about this was deleted and I thought it might be possible to discuss the incident without the video or the racial element in the subject line. Plus the Americans happen to know a lot about this sport.

You came with the bold type. That’s what I was meaning. But I’m upset and my dyslexia is kicking in. So I am not making sense.
