PR teams handle the public perception of their planes to make them appear safe and welcoming to potential customers, they are responsible for the safety of their planes when they are advertising for people to be on them. I won't tell you why that struck me as funny. Do tell.

He’s typical shit-talker comic and using cheap shots at people is an easy way to get laughs. He’s not up to preach a sermon. I like The Office original…which Steven Merchant co-created…but in his other TV shows, he’s never gone much beyond that same nasty, egotistical character. Carell took the same character and made him three dimensional. Mind you, Steve Carell is an actor while Gervais is a comedian who acts. I preferred him in Extras anyway. I like Extras too. He has a shelf of Emmys, so I’m not knocking him per se, he has other projects besides his jokey opinions as humor. I don’t care for his brand comedy. When Chappelle doesn’t have his ass up on his shoulders he can be brilliant with his opinions. My favorites of all-time are Richard Pryor and George Carlin…and Carlin got tiresome in old age. For my political comedian I go to Stephen Colbert.

Oh noes! He takes the piss out of woke bullshit - what a meanie! I’ve not seen his stand-up except for once and that was before “Woke” bashing became vogue. Like I said, cheap shots. Again, The Office is a landmark TV show…mostly thanks to Steve Carell. Landmark stand-up. As I said, cheap remake.

Thing is, with "comics" like Gervais ...if you like his type of humor / humour , you can deliberately watch or hear him on assorted media or you can go to his live shows BUT when he is hosting Awards shows and you do not like his "humor" you are left with having to make the decision to either skip the show entirely, mute the sound when he is on or listen to him and fume. Same goes for the likes of one note "comics" like Chris Rock. Thats fine if youre not a fan of Ricky. Bob Hope did the same thing and that was years ago. A youtuber had mentioned he was more "with" the audience so I was curious and checked it out. Only difference is that Gervais is the current guy. He even spells it out at one point, they are just jokes. They should bring him back. Get rid of Jo Koy. He apologized and said I only had 10 days to prepare.. Tired of fragile egos, sensitivity and political correctness. You laugh at everything or you laugh at nothing

Here's something by Obama thats relevant Barack Obama says Democrats need to avoid being a ‘buzzkill’linkFormer President Barack Obama thinks Democrats can be a bit of a “buzzkill,” too easily offended over accidental slights and the complicated scenarios of modern life, he said in a podcast interview late last week. “How does politics even – how is it even relevant to the things that I care most deeply about? My family, my kids, work that gives me satisfaction, having fun, not being a buzzkill, right?” Obama said in an interview with “Pod Save America.” “And sometimes Democrats are, right? You know, sometimes, people just want to not feel as if they are walking on eggshells. And they want some acknowledgment that life is messy and that all of us at any given moment can say things the wrong way, make mistakes.” Obama is publicly addressing a concern voiced by Democratic strategists privately for quite some time now – that the liberal base of the party is so focused the possibility of offending certain interest groups that they lose the broader thread of speaking to what voters actually care about.

When people ask my political affiliation I typically say that I’m an Obama Era liberal. This guy gets it. I miss the days when he was prez. Times sure have changed.
