Gervais used to be a very funny man when his comedy was broad and appealing. He used to talk about the natural world and fame etc.
Now he focuses on trans people, immigration and whatever other subjects are the populist subjects of the day that appeal to the swivel eyed right wing loons. It's sad really. He's the next Russell Brand.
