Well, they keep doing it for money from name recognition and nostalgia. I don't know. I was never a big fan of The Crow to begin with. It just looks, from the shots, that it's trying to tap into Jared Leto's Joker which is not a good sign. If you don't like it it's because you are either a boomer or a millenial. But I forgive you. The Crow is for goth girls and guys who paint their fingernails.

The original Crow wasn’t white. If you want to get technical, he was in the graphic novel. Eric's ethnicity/race isn't as important as having an actor that can pull off the whole dystopian-gothic look. Brandon Lee did it perfectly, while also being a great Eric Draven in the flashback scenes. Kind of like Superman Vs Clark. But Brandon Lee was half Chinese and he burned his race into American eyeballs. At least they could’ve gotten one the sexy Skarsgard to play the part. I’m gonna have to look at some photos of his brothers…or father…to get the above creepy image out my head. The only thing missing is the balloon.

Oh, I think Bill is the sexiest of the Scandinavian brothers. There's just something about him.

When it came out in 1994 it was a sort of generational film for Gen X. It had a grunge-ish soundtrack that was massive and a great visual design and look from Alex Proyas. I’ve seen it so many times I can quote it, although it’s been a long time.

I like the way he carries himself, like he isn't trying too hard. And he has very elegant hands. I'd like to watch him play a piano or Saxophone or something.

And it was prophetic, because Detroit even looks like that today!

Never understood the appeal. It's a pretty mediocre movie. Michael Wincott was good in it though but not exceptional.
