So no white paint like Lee wore (to get away from the Alice Cooper look?). The paleness was that he was a corpse. Don't know Bauhaus, but Skarsgård does have more of an Iggy Pop bod. But he's always going to send out I like the casting, right now I just hate the styling. Why all the shitty jailhouse ink? How many times has this guy been in the joint? With "Lullabye" tattoed on his face, no-less 🤨 And the jacket, from what I'm seeing, looks like something a school ahooter would wear. But to be fair, we aren't getting that great a look at it. Bill S. can wear black, and he can wear a long coat, quite effectively. And he wore it effectively as the undead once already. He just stole all the air out of the room as Roman Godfrey. Tats are more of a thing now, more so than in the 90s. My kid has several. I see lots of people with them. Yeah face stuff feels more gang, but... I can't tell from that picture if it's the overcoat like in the 94 movie.

Im more excited for a snail climbing up a wall. I guess the original was a bit better than Paranormal Activity. I consider that to be a very lame film.
Rust before Rust I guess? I remember reading something that some believed the Triads were involved in both Brandon's and Bruce's deaths as they go after family but that it involved his father originally I think. Cant remember the exact details
Not even sure why I watched this film in the first place. Probably just sheer curiosity

I have zero fucking interest in a Crow reboot. Why can't Hollywood make original product?

And LOVE good ink on men, skinny, fat, tall, small, whatever, I feel like everyone looks better when they use the canvas of their skin to it's proper potential. That said, there are also bad tattoos. And awful tattoos. And stupid places to get them. Unless it is some cultural thing, or you are firmly planted within some kind of artist's community (such as tattoo artist yourself) for your work, face tats scream either "I have quit trying at life," or "I am broken with reality some or all of the time."

The original Crow wasn’t white. Brandon Lee's mother was a White women. How White does a person have to be to be White?

Hollywood is so void of any creativity that they gotta resort to remaking this turkey. The original stunk. Brandon Lee died for this turkey of a movie.

Forget Twilight Zone decapitated a few performers? Directors wanting realistic reactions out of actors. It's not like we had a bunch of comic book movies that year. The Crow The Mask The Shadow is Pulp Fiction & radio drama.

It seems to become an obsession. I worked with a gal at probation who kept getting more & more. Clerk, not an officer. Like collecting knick knacks. Some can get a few while others go overboard.

Films are dangerous Directors can be rather power-hungry This led to that little "no animals harmed"

People have always died making movies. Forget Twilight Zone decapitated a few performers? Directors wanting realistic reactions out of actors. It's not like we had a bunch of comic book movies that year. The Crow The Mask The Shadow is Pulp Fiction & radio drama. Sure, but Brandon's death also involved a gun, no? Weird and Careless accident yes. There is shot of Brandon pointing a revolver at the camera. To make sure that no one gets hurt they put dummy rounds in the cylinder that has real leads in them. They put them in all the chambers of the cylinder that way no gaps when they do multiple shots. The ultimate look they are looking for is the leads of the other rounds in the cylinder like this... . Now the dummy rounds or this look can be done different ways but in this case if memory serves they quickly made them with spent blank rounds and glued leads on the tip. During filming of the scene where Brandon points the gun at the camera there is some action. During that actions the gun is jostled and tossed. This dislodged the lead the dummy round in the barrel not the cylinder. The Armorer removed the dummy rounds and stored the gun not noticing the missing lead. Then they filmed a shooting seen with that gun vs Brandon. (edit: I think it was the next day actually) They put in blanks into the gun. The Armorer on set checked the gun by looking into the cylinder looking for rounds before loading it with blanks all were clear. One wouldn't think to look in the barrel for a slightly sticky lead and even if they did think not a great angle to see it. The Armorer put live blanks in the cylinder. A live blank + a loose lead in the barrel = bullet. (albeit a less powerful one as some of the physics are fucked when you have gaps like that but a bullet none the less). This resulted in him being shot.

Meh... Based on the photos, he's not Brandon Lee.
Hopefully it will be good but I'm not feeling it.

The Crow is for goth girls and guys who paint their fingernails. When it came out in 1994 it was a sort of generational film for Gen X. It had a grunge-ish soundtrack that was massive and a great visual design and look from Alex Proyas. I’ve seen it so many times I can quote it, although it’s been a long time. Plus you can't go wrong with Michael Wincott as a villain: "Greed is for amateurs. Disorder, chaos, anarchy: now that's fun!"
