You notice that your buddy has not zipped up. You ask him, "What's the speed limit in China?" He knows the answer is "wide open" and will take care of business.

This is your brain on drugs.
Many people today don't need to know that saying.

This is your brain on drugs. Many people today don't need to know that saying. Many people today probably don't know how to fry eggs in a pan either.

Many people today probably don't know how to fry eggs in a pan either. At least I can do that! But do you need to be on drugs?

But do you need to be on drugs? Good point! And just in case you were wondering -- no!

I don’t know the other one. Before 1960 or thereabouts, movies ran continuously in theaters. You could go any time without checking on starting times. Just buy a ticket and go get a seat. You would watch the movie from where it was when you sat down to the end. Then it would start over and you would watch the first part that you hadn’t seen. Then, you would say, “This is where I came in” and leave. It became a catchphrase that you would use, for example, when a friend or relative would start up with a familiar complaint that you have heard dozens of times before, you would say, “This is where I came in” – IOW, “I’ve heard it all before.”
