If there was ever a natural for Laugh-In, he was it.  A fine, underappreciated actor. Although he was not very good at acting innocent. Not one of his best roles. |

I always thought it was too bad they couldn't get Gordon Liddy to do a guest spot as well. If there was ever a natural for Laugh-In, he was it. A fine, underappreciated actor. Although he was not very good at acting innocent. Not one of his best roles. But his classic autobiography, Will, shows him up as being one of America's premier (if sadly unacknowledged) masters of black humor. |
