Seems like a lot of people like to mock and deride those who are more successful than themselves. Yeah, like some right-wingers do with Taylor Swift, who is more successful than Jordan Peterson.
And looks better in a skirt, too

Maybe. I wouldn't know; I've never seen Jordan Peterson in a skirt.

Oh, please. You think that man is happy?
Are you?
Me? I feel fine. I don’t have to worry money about like you do. See, as Jordo’s fav guy says, you can serve only one Master, not two, because you will love one of them and hate the other. Or as the fella says, you don’t have to serve any master and become a pirate. God bless America.

It is a false assumption that because you believe in the "science" of 1859 you are thereby more rational than anyone else. Watch closely as your worldview is crumbling to pieces. I do not believe in science, fool, but I am pragmatic, which is a great philosophy. All that is required is answering this question: does it work. Science has given us the modern world, while all religion can do is tell us a bunch supernatural myths and call it history. And philosophy ain’t much better. Frankly, I would love to throw a stick of dynamite into Plato’s freaking cave. Did Religion invent Television?
What do you mean work? Does the choral to Beethoven's 9th work? Try it and see.

Religion works for me. It gave me my morals, ethics and sense of responsibility. And many people get their morals, ethics and sense of responsibility from religion. Fear of God, and desire to get to Heaven is a better motivator for many people, than just trying to do "what is best for me". Without religion, it is easy to rationalize doing anything. But for believers, God sees everything. So no self rationalizing or trying to figure stuff out.

I have to say Peterson kind of walked into this when he embarked on his quest for the divine. I don’t know if he’s sincere or not, though I think he’s a “bells and smells” elitist type who doesn’t believe in Jesus the same way he wants the unwashed masses to believe. That's one interpretation. Personally I believe he is trying to find in those Biblical stories some relevance to the current cultural crisis. It is a little arrogant considering that the Talmudists have been doing pretty much the same since the 1st century AD. It's also sad because it probably means he no longer thinks that our culture can be saved without belief.

I know what you’re getting at, Jordon twists his tongue up and often breaks into tears trying to describe it. Beauty and art can be so overwhelming sometimes, it’s seems mystical and other worldly and only creatures created by a loving God of great power and wisdom can recreate His handiwork in the Works of Mankind. But art and beauty are subjective, not objective. The facts we can prove are, God didn’t write the 9th Symphony, Beethoven did. We also can’t prove God exists using the 9th Symphony or Rhapsody in Blue. If you see God in the Ode to Joy, more power to you, but it doesn’t prove God exists or that He’s the most influential entity in Western Civilization and without absolute faithfulness to the Christian doctrine, we will fall into savagery. I think Peterson and his Clean Your Room club don’t believe in God so much as the cultural triumphalism of the Church.

I'd like to know how Christianity managed to change the recording of time to BC/AD or BCE/CE. Does the whole world officially recognize this or do other cultures still use their measure of time? Oh, and additionally, lots of people, over the ages, in absolute faithfulness to the Christian doctrine, HAVE fallen into savagery. There is no one consensus of what Christian doctrine is. As I've mentioned before, according to the Bible, you can love your neighbor or kill him with the jawbone of an ass.

For a person who supposedly had any schooling on these matters you sure are boring and stupid.
I was wondering today why God didn't just snap his fingers and civilize the world. Civilization sure was is slow in in coming.
I've really known all along what the problem is though. If our world is going to be civilized, we -- humans, have to civilize it. It is a sort of the price of the apple.
in the mists of ancient history even the people of God were terribly brutal. "Hey Ehud, we're going to slaughter some Egyptian first born, you coming?"
Then God was like, "Whoa there Joshubel, put that sword away. I tell you what. You don't have to worry about it anymore, Okay? If any Egyptian first born need to be slaughtered, I'll see to it. You just need to chill."
In the early days their god took their brutal ways out of their hands. Yet it took a long time for them to learn they didn't really need their brutal ways.
What if today Joshubel said, "Hey Ehud, we're going to cut some Hamas today, you coming?" And God spoke to him, "Whoa there Joshubel, haven't you learned to leave that stuff to me yet?"

No.
Next question, please.
You're not the boss of Papamihel! Or ARE you? Wrong.
I'm the boss of everyone, including him and you!

Christians have murder millions of Jews because they couldn’t accept the new religious tradition that Jesus the Jew is the rather non-Jewish Messiah, as well as God himself. They murdered thousands of witches, who continued to practice their indigenous paganism. Catholics have murdered Protestants and versi vica all because they were doing Christianity wrong. And Muslims haven't murdered anybody? Absolutely, because they believe in the same God you do who gives them permission to do it.

I was going to apologize for slighting you, but never mind that.
For a person who supposedly studied these things you sure are flat wrong.
And no, the Bible does not say any plagues were to be the work of human hands. Not one.
