I don't think allegations should be enough to win a court case or put any alleged rapists behind bars.
Scenario: I am divorcing my gold digging wife who does not get a penny because of our pre nup.
She wants to get back at me and claims I raped her after the divorce.
I can go to jail for that, just based on her false accusations, and that is not right.
There should be physical evidence before any rape claim goes to criminal and/or civil court.

There always is more evidence before a rape goes to criminal court I’m pretty sure - I don’t think they can just bring charges against someone without any other evidence than just someone saying “I was raped”. The standard isn’t as high in civil court I don’t believe, but I’m not a lawyer.

Jean Carroll does, too, but she's having her day in court. The rape I was referring to above was the one Ivana alleged after Trump had scalp reduction surgery. |
