If you do still think Trump should be president, that is. Why? 1) Trump is not really a RepublicanBefore he officially entered politics himself, he donated to the campaigns of Democrats and Republicans. That probably has less to do with his own political leanings and more to do with his attempts to have influence over the candidates. As a long time friend of Hillary Clinton he only ran for president so that he could lose to her. No Republicans wanted to run against her since most people thought she was a clear winner. Also they didn't want a career as the guy who defeated the very likely first woman president. 2) Trump is not really a conservative. He is a real estate mogul, and that is a very different thing. He probably wouldn't be a real estate mogul except that that he had good looks, at least in his youth anyway, and his father had a lot of money. 3) Trump is not really religious. No surprise there, everyone knows that including people for whom religion is important. Why then?
Considering all that, why do you want him to be president? Are you Republican or at all concerned for the Grand Old Party? Or are you like him -- a Democrat? Are you conservatives? Or do you think real estate is a career? Do you believe in a higher purpose than gratification of animal senses? Or do you believe in grabbing what you can? Okay, you were losing hope in career politicians, I got that, but you got someone even less competent. He is like Archie Bunker trying to fix a refrigerator, he is only going to blow a fuse. Can you see that yet? It's true. He has no idea what he is doing. Prove me wrong.

Better record with the economy, better border security by far, better judges appointed, no new major conflicts, lower energy prices, lower inflation, lower taxes, higher rates of home ownership, better energy policy, doesn't have dementia. Thanks for asking.

I don't see your numbers, but no surprise there. Trump didn't control the border very well, covid did, at least at first. Abortion is still beyond the reach of government and litigious disaster after disaster will prove that. Trump increased the national debt as much as Obama, or like any Democrat would, not knowing what else to do.

Is there another truly conservative and religious Republican on the ticket? Well then. Archie Bunker it is. It’s certainly better than Meathead.

I'm sorry but I do not see how it is possible to be a thousand times worse. I do understand that Biden is old, but so is Trump. I do understand that Biden doesn't know what to do with the border, but neither does Trump. I suspect they both like illegals for different reasons. I would say Trump is the worse choice because of his utter incompetence on the subject of abortion and for his total lack of civility regarding the outcome of elections.
What is the real problem here? It is Biden, and it is Trump, but most of all it is the increasing number of incompetent voters. They are stupid, godless pigs who do not know what they are doing. They get the leaders they deserve. You have Trump and Biden because you don't deserve better.

You're asking for numbers and then saying Covid controlled Trump's border at first. Wut. I see why you identify with Biden. And no, I am not voting for Trump.

Yes. I believe in smaller and responsible government. You'll never gonna get that with democrats. A big far bloated government is how most of those bastards are getting rich.

Before your contentions are shred apart again, you should be reminded you wanted reasons. Whether you like them or not is entirely immaterial. "I don't see your numbers, but no surprise there." There's a multitude of things you "don't see" (including logic) but I won't hold it against you. I'm entertaining your troll thread because you seemingly wanted attention. "Trump didn't control the border very well, covid did, at least at first." Border crossings were lower under him than the last several presidents even before Covid. Lower illegal alien volume as well as human/drug trafficking. "Abortion is still beyond the reach of government and litigious disaster after disaster will prove that." I never mentioned that though I was pleased to see Roe V Wade corrected even by the contentions of RBG. "Trump increased the national debt as much as Obama, or like any Democrat would, not knowing what else to do." Which offsets the economy, inflation vs wages, lower taxes, better border, lower costs, better energy policy, etc...how, exactly? ** In short, you were given reasons why many people want him re-elected and why he is ahead in the polls. I am not saying he will win..merely that there's a significant amount of reasons for people to support him. You're welcome.

Although there are no entirely dependable ways to measure something that escapes detection, a method for obtaining a crude estimate is assessing "encounters."
There does appear a momentary drop immediately after Trump's inauguration, but that doesn't last all the way to covid. It might be assumed people figured out Trump had no surprises.

Whether I "like" your reasons might matter less, whether you can support them with numbers absolutely is material. I have used charts and numbers from the beginning. I re-posted a chart in another reply. If you have no numbers yourself you might as well go to Hell on the fast train, since that's where you're going anyway.

That might be a good reason to vote for a Republican or a conservative or a person using private, possibly "religious," means to solve problems like abortion.
As I tried to explain by this thread, Trump is none of those.
So now why would you vote for him? You still can't see what he really is?

Wages have been outpacing inflation for the last year, taxes haven't gone up since Biden got elected, US oil production is higher than it's ever been, and crime rates have continued to go down after a brief spike in 2020-21.
