China started Sunday with 39 golds to USA’s 38.
US will compete for gold in women’s basketball vs France (favored), women’s volleyball vs Italy, women’s freestyle wrestling 76kg, women’s weightlifting 81kg and potentially women’s omnium in track cycling.
China competes for gold medals on Sunday in women’s weightlifting at 81kg (favored) and potentially women’s omnium in track cycling and women’s pentathlon.
