Wow, that was an exciting finish to the game! If the French player had shot from a few inches behind it would have been three points and France would have tied.

US wins 67-66 and tops final medal table with same gold tally as China but more silvers. I'm happy. I have a love interest from China, and tying for Golds is perfect. The U.S. had 593 athletes, France 573, Australia 460, Germany 427, Japan 404, Italy 403, China 388, Spain 382, Great Britain 327, Canada 318 So we had more chances. |

Best ever Olympics for little ole Ireland and we came so close in a couple of the runnin ones. They did us proud. The money wasted on the horses has to be diverted to the lovely running girls for LA28

Would love to see a table only with medals won by clean athletes. I know Bahrain are nowhere to be seen but cheat Salwa Eid Naser prevented us from a bronze the other night. Also that pedo didn't win a medal for Netherlands? They should be banned too |

He was eliminated long before the medal rounds. |
