MotoGP was a great race. Brad Binder threw the kitchen sink at Pecco but the reigning World Champion held on in a thriller. Aussie Jack Miller raced a strong third. Acosta backed up his 2nd in the Moto2 race with a top 10. Race was red flagged after a brutal incident on the first lap between Fabio and Miguel Oliveira. Oliveira was taken to hospital with a broken shoulder. Fabio overcame a 16th starting position, a brutal crash and a double long lap penalty to finish in the top 10. A pretty remarkable effort that.

Formula 1 was so boring. This season looks doomed. The only good thing was Perez winning for a change.

Formula 1 was so boring. This season looks doomed. The only good thing was Perez winning for a change. Another problem is, they changed a few regulations for this season, and now the drivers are complaining again about having trouble following a car.
Indycar had a good race.

Great drives by Verstappen and Hamilton yesterday.
It was fun watching a Haas battle a Ferrari.
Leclerc had a shit weekend.
What was Stroll doing.
Another podium for Alonso
McLaren, so many sponsors, but no screen time to show them.
No DNF's no yellow flags, besides the little shunt at the start, it was a nice clean race.

Another clean race in Indycar. One yellow at the start and that was it. Will and Scott didn't do much. Another podium for O'Ward. Felt a little sorry for Luundgard. Team got his tire strategy wrong and he ended up missing the top 3.
Denny Hamlin won a fairly clean Kansas 400 in the Nascar. Larsson, Busch and Logano all had shockers.
In the Super bikes it was another hat trick of wins for Alvaro Bautista who is now 73 points clear of Toprak with 24 races to go. Yamaha is well clear in the teams points with their riders sitting 2nd and 3rd. Ducati did get a 1,3 in the second race though to stay in touch.

Utter carnage at the MotoGP in Le Mans with only 13 bikes finishing. Pecco and Vinales took each other out, then Marini and Alex Marquez had a scary incident where both riders came off on the circuit. Jack Miller led early but fell back into the field as his front tyre degraded before crashing out. Marc Marquez was in a podium position the whole race but crashed out of 3rd on the penultimate lap.
When the dust settled Marco Bezzechi won by about 7s from Jorge Martin and local hope Johann Zarco.
Martin won the sprint race from Binder. Pecco left the round with his lead over Bezzechi cut to a single point and Brad Binder just 12 points further back. We have a title race!

A good clean race for about 90% of the Indy 500. Then a bunch of crashes at the end. Great effort by the organisers to finish under green after a 3rd red flag with 3 laps to go and...let's say the final lap was worth it!

They shut Monaco down for the second time this month following the Formula E visit a few weeks ago. Haven't watched the F1 yet.

That tyre flying at the Indy 500 was scary stuff. That Veekay pitstop, what was he doing.

To be fair he wasn't the only one to come careening out of control from his pit stall. Dixon and Newkirk looked like drunken goons as well. He WAS the only one who took out another driver doing it. I don't know what happened to Power! He was 4th coming into the first restart and dropped like a stone having shown good pace before that. |

In the Nascar, Ryan Blaney finally got his first race win of the season at the Coca Cola 600 and Kyle Busch picked up his 3rd win of the year from pole a week later.
Fun IndyCar race in Detroit with some nice duels at the front. Poor Pato failed to finish again.
In the F1 Verstappen won again in Spain, increasing his lead over Pérez who finished 3rd. What is now a rare podium for Hamilton who finished 2nd.
